  • Description:
  • Flow cytometry is a method for studying particles of 0.5 to 50 micrometers that pass-through laser beams in a stream. Using the physics of fluids and providing the right pressure, this device arranges the particles in a sample in a column in a three-dimensional space and then evaluates each one of them. In this method, the light scattering ratio and the fluorescence color of the particles are measured. Analysis and separation of particles are done based on their size and granularity and their fluorescence characteristics. To perform flow cytometry tests, the particles are prepared until the suspension is possible and they are labeled with fluorochrome or a conjugated Anti body with fluorochrome. Then they are given to the device in a suitable environment. As a result of the laser light, in the image where the particles have the desired marker, information including size, granularity and fluorochromic data can be created, which are finally analyzed by software. This device has important applications in the field of medical studies - studying cancer cells and nanotechnology.
  • The central laboratory flowcytometer device has 3 purple, blue and red lasers as well as 10 detector channels including 2 forward and side scatters and 8 colors.
